Responsibilities

Roles and responsibilities

President

Leads the association, represents members at state and national level, presides over meetings and keeps the association on course.

Vice presidents

Support the president in governance, manage regional activities and step in when the president is unavailable.

Secretary

Runs day-to-day operations, correspondence and records, and organises meetings and association activities.

Auditors

Audit accounts and transactions so funds are used transparently and responsibly.

District office bearers

Lead the association in their district, bring members together and take local concerns to the state body.

Elections

All positions are filled through a democratic election by the general body, as per the association's rules.
